RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA Pursuant to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereOy given that the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public heanng on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at seven-thirty in the evening in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following applications:
SU #09-02-01 Sonja C. Winter, dba Keysville Post, owner of 12.28 acres In Jackson District, zoned A-Agricultural. located at 13130 Crest Hill Road, Flint Hill, desires a Special Use permit to use her cottage as a tourist home. Seasonal rentals will occur May through November. Use allowed under Code Section 170-36E, with additional standards under Code Section 170-66K, of the Rappahannock County Code.
SU #09-02-02 Richard B. and Judith B. Reidinger, dba Hazel Mountain Haven, owners of 12.964 acres In Piedmont District, zoned AAgricultural, located at 11 Penny Lane, Sperryville, desire a Special Use permit to use their guest house as a tourist home year round. Use allowed under Code Section 170-36E, with additional standards under Code Section 170-66K, of the Rappahannock County Code.
No applicant or other party in interest, and no attorney for an applicant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA for the purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the ments of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in any such pnvate discussion. Site visits or similar contacts initiated by BZA members shall not constitute such ex parte contacts. A copy of the foregoing applications are on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and are available for public inspection, Monday through Friday. 8:30am to 4:30pm. Said applications will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at seven-thirty in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any.
