Good Citizens
The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, is holding a reception March 14 at 11 a.m. at the Rappahannock County Library to honor DAf-t Good Citizen winners. The Rappahannock winners are Emily Faith Spivey of Rappahannock County High School and Katherine Grace Von Fange of Wakefield Country Day School. The program encourages and rewards qualities of good citizenship and is open to senior class students.

Retirement
The community will have an opportunity to bid farewell to rural mail carrier David A. Thornhill on Saturday. March 14 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. at Stonewall Abbey Cafe. Thornhill has 30 years of service with the U.S. Postal Service and has been serving Sperryville since 2001. Postmaster Susan Rowan describes him as Totally dedicated to giving his customers the best possible service."
