In ad dition to changes m the exterior designs, the '53 Roadmaster and Super lines will have a V-type engine, for the fust time in Buick's long history. Hie special model will continue the straight type engine. J. C. Brickert. recently returned from a preview of the new cars in Philadelphia and is enthusiastic about the many new features in design and appointments. ‘ 1953 is Buick's 50th anniversary and every effort has been put into making this year s models the best ever." he said. Farmville AA Group Banquets Karm'Ule group of Alcoholics Anonymous held Its annual ban quet at Cedar Brook Tavern Fri day night. Guests were present from nearby groups including Lynchburg. Richmond, and Dan ville. Thirty guests from Farm ville attended. The program was featured by talks from a husband -wile team and several musical selections.
