On account of sickness. Rev. J. ] C. Weaver was unable to fill his Sunday morning appointment at Smyrna Church. We wish him a speedy recovery, kittle Beth Weaver is also sick. Among The .Sick Mrs. Jim Marks, who has been sick, is out again. Mr. and Mrs. Weseiy Shiffletts and daughters were New Year luncheon guests of the Emmett Dunkums. Mr. and Mrs. Water G. Marks celebrated quietly tneir thirty fourth wedding anniversary on December 21. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Marks. Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Dunkum viisted Miss Eliza White and Miss Kate White last week Miss Eliza is about to finish her third knit counterpane started in 19,r>2. and expects to start on a new one right away.
