Major accomplishments in the 1952 roads program in the Dill wyn highway residency of Prince Edward. Cumberland and Buck ingham Counties included the hard surfacing fo 22 8 miles of unpaved roads, and the strength ening of stabilized roads with some 27,000 tons of crushed stone or local material, according to an end of the year summary by Resi dent Engineer R H Ingle, of Dill wyn. Other improvements in the resi dency consisted of 415 miles of resurfacing and the erection of seven new bridges. In Prince Edward county, hard surfacing of the roads to Goodwin Lake and Prince Edward county State Park highlighted the 1952 construction program. Other reads paved during the year in cluded short sections of heavily traveled Rts. 633 and 66. There are 145 miles of paved secondary roads in the county to date.
