Tuesday Luncneon Mrs. L. B. Ward entertained at la luncheon, last Tuesday. Her I guests were Misses Mary Byrd I Taylor. Courtney Taylor. Mary Jefferson, and Mesdames J. C. j Eggleston and William B. Jeffer : son. Mrs. Tucker and daughter. Miss Josephine Tucker, of Richmond, visited the Rev. and Mrs. D. P. Rogers, last week. The late Mr Tucker was a former minister of the Ameila Baptist Church. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson, Jr., and sons, of Richmond, spent the week end with Mrs. Thomas Jefferson. Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Rice, of Clifton Forge, spent Monday night with Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Dickerson. They left Tuesday morning for Norfolk, where they will leave for a Carribean cruise for two weeks. Returns To School Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Morecock took their son, Bobby, back to VMI. Sunday.
