Announced
Mr. and Mrs. Charles William Sollenberger of Woodstock, announce the engagement of their daughter, Janet Elizabeth, to Dr. Walter Leroy Kilby, son of Mrs. W. B. Kilby and the late Mr. Kilby, of the F.T. Valley, Rappahannock.
Miss Sollenberger is a graduate of the Shenandpah Business School in Woodstock, and a graduate of the class of 1946 at Madison College, where she received - her B.S. degree. She served the County jot ‘ Rappahannock for three years as Home Demonstration agent and leader of the 4-H clubs.
Dr. Kilby served as a Lt. Col. in World War II for three years in the Pacific. He is a graduate of Medicine at the University of Virginia and is now practicing medicine in Baltimore and is a member of the staff of the University of Maryland hospital.
The wedding will take ' place May 26, at Woodstock.

Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., entertained at bridge Thursday evening, having as her guests Mrs. Lewis Turner, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. Charles Bruce, Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. Elizabeth DeBergh, Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Mrs. Frank Moffett, Mrs. Fisher Burford, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Mrs. Holmes Hall, Mrs. Henry Warwick, Mrs. George Taylor and Mrs. R. E. Wood. Prizes were won by Mrs. B. M. Miller, 1st for club; Mrs. R. E. Wood 1st for guests; Mr^. Bruce, traveling; Mrs. Bradford bingo and Mrs. Hall low.
