Mrs. Eva Mason Grimsley
Graveside funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:00 in the family cemetery for Mrs. Eva Mason Grimsley, 80, widow of 'Wiyjam Grimfchejy, who ''r
die^^ffcer/p^iong period of declining health, although Mrs. Grimsley remained active until a week before her death. The Rev. S. Felton Carter of Woodville, and Rev. W. B. Dennis of Castleton conducted the last rites.
Mrs. Grimsley was the daughter of the late Joseph Shelton Grimsley and Mary Howard Grimsley of Rappahannock.
Surviving are three sons, Howard Norman Grimsley, Joseph Shelton Grimsley of Castleton and Barnett Bruce Grimsley of Washington, D.C.; one sister, Mrs. G. M. Golden of SperryVille, and six grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Stanley Golden, Herbert Poe, John T. Woodward, William Spicer, Willie Alther and Charlie Singers. •
