Wallace Russell of Flint Hill is -4ft-Warrenton - hospital," Bufferingfrom what may be a slight concussion, following an automobile accident Saturday night nea^ Cross Creek Cabins, near Amissville. Mr. Russell’s condition is satisfactory and he may b4 able to return to his home by Friday.
Mr. Russell recalls nothing of the accident and does not know what happened. It is surmised that his car came over a slight hill and he struck another car in the highway—or it struck him. Whether the other car, bearing a New York license, was moving or was parked is not known. In fact, the accident should have a record on what is not known: no one seems to know who was driving the New York car; no one seems to know to whom it belonged; and no one seems to know anything about the accident. •
Two items are positive facts: Wallace Russell knows he has a splitting headache and that his car is smashed up in the front.
The New York car is supposed to have had five occupants: two were located in Culpeper, two in Fredericksburg, and one is still missing. No one of the four located knows who was driving. Sdmeone says the ear belonged to a boss of one of the men; someone else says the New York car is a taxi.
No one say the accident. Some- ~ one came upon the scene and took Wallace Russell to Warrenton to the hospital, and he was unconscious about eight hours. There was nfo one in the New York car when Mr. Russell iwas found.
Officer Moore of Culpeper was called.
