MRS. LOLA C. BRIDGETT
Mrs. Lola C. Bridgett, S3, of near Castleton, died early Monday morning of a heart attack. She was found by Mr. Thomas Williams who went there on business.
Mrs. Bridgett had been living by herself since the death of her husband, Hamilton Bridgett, some years ago.
Mrs. Bridgett is survived by one son Carroll Bridgett of Washington, D.C., and several grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the home May 3 at 2 o’clock, by her pastor Rev. Luther Banks. Interment was in the family graveyard.
Pallbearers were: Virgil Wigingtan, Howard Jones, Clifford Lawson, Eugene Henderson, Andrew Lewis, and James Penn.
There will be Mother’s Day services at First Baptist church, Washington, Sunday, May 13, at 11 o’clock. Sister Rev. Cora Witherspoon of Washington, D. C., will be the guest speaker. Tliis is spon. sored by the Gold Star Mothers club.
