Special Board Meeting
Rescinds Fox Bounty
A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held on Saturday, for the purpose of hearing a petition requesting that the Board rescind its resolution fixing a bounty of $2.00 for all foxes killed in the County, during the months of M/irch and April, 1952.
It was unanimously decided, aa requested by the fox hunters, to let hunters go into the district or districts, and kill out the foxes in the most desirable manner. The bounty of $2.00 would be until the regular meeting, April 2. At this meeting it would be decided whether the bounty would be replaced or not, according to the success of the huntsmen.

A. N. Keeler, brother of V. H. Keeler of Washigton, died Tuesday. March 18. at a Baltimore hospital, following . 4 heart attack- Besides Mr. V. H. Keeler of Rappahannock, he is survived by two other brothers, W.C. Keeler of Strasburg, and Joseph M. Keeler of Vinton.

Keeler, 60, operated a watch repair shop in Washington about 20 years ago. - He was a son of foe late Joseph Morgan Keeler and Mrs. Sallie McCauley Keeler of Cedarville.. ‘Funeral services will be conducted today, Thursday, March 20, at 2 p.m. from the Scott Funeral Home in Front Royal and interment will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
ENLISTS IN U. S. AIR FORCE
William Bnrke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gabe Burke of Washington who enlisted in the U. S. Air Force, left Thursday for Sampson Air Force Base, New York where he will begin his basic training. Before entering service, William attended Rappahannock County High School.
