Mrs. D. D. Miller is substituting this week in the home economics department at Rappahannock High. School in the absence of Mrs. Allen Johnson, who is at her home in AltaVista recovering from an illness.
Miss Betty Jane Welch who has a position in Martinsburg, West Virginia was a week-end guest in the home of her mother, Mrs. Annie M. Welch. Other guests in the home on Sunday were Miss Telhapheane, Doel Nick Swiero, and “Jiggs” Naters all of Martinsburg.
Dinner guests Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates were Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith and sons, G.W. Jr., and Charlie, Mrs. Robert Massie and Robert, Jr. Mrs. Mary Gound Thornhill of Glasgow was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes BroWn at “Rock Villa.’
