According. to a bulletin from Hollins College, Miss Mary Massie Lea, a freshman at Hollins, has been included on the Dean’s List for her high scholastic record during the past semester.
Miss Lea, who graduated from Stuart Hall last year, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea of Washington.

Bronze Star Medal
According to an announcement from the 3rd Infantry Division in Korea, Sergeant First Class Thomas Barbee Reid of Washington, has been awarded the Bronse Star Medal or meritorious service during a year of combat in Korea.
SFC Reid, who was a member of Headquarters and Service Company, 10th Engineer Combat Battalion, was rotated to the U.S. last November. /v<
The decoration was presented in recognition of Raid’s service from November 20, 1260 to November 3, 1261. ^ -
