WINCHESTER ISSUES SPECIAL INVITATION
The Retail Merchants of Winchester have issued a special invitation to the people of Rappahannock to attend the city’s big Christmas parade and party Monday, December 15, with the parade starting at 7 p.m.
The sincerity and cordiality of their invitation is not to be judged by the small space here. The merchants wanted a big invitation printed in the paper, but the announcement came on a late mail yesterday and there wasn’t room left.
“Novelties and candy for the kiddies” will be on hand at the party, says the invitation and the whole family is invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead were in Richmond Friday and Saturday while Mr. Snead was in attendance at the Convention of Commonwealth Attorneys. Mr. Snead was elected as 7th district representative to the Executive Board of the Association of Commonwealth Attorneys of Virginia.
