Some fellow has written himself an article on the subject that popular grammatical corruptions have charm and fascination for most people. (I have no way to prove it, but I’d bet two nickels he moves in a circle that insists on correct speech and among folks who wouldn’t do business nor drink coffee with you unless you speak the King’s English.)

The fellow did quote a couple that were interesting reading, but there are few of us who wouldn’t squirm to have such spoken at our dinner table.

This one was a sample? “If I hadda knowed that you wanted to have went, I certainly would have see’d that you got to git to gb.”

It’s expressive, beyond argument. I still don't like it.
