The Virginia Aberdeen Angus Association will sponsor a sale of young breeding stock at the Front
f oyal Beef Cattle Research Center on aturday, Decemfber 13, beginning at one o’clock in the afternoon. Sixtyfive lots will sell of which five are bulls. This can well be an opportunity to buy at a bargain. The Potomac Edison Company has the mighty fine habit of sponsoring Four State Winter meetings and Four State Farm Tours (summer) for farmers which I consider top notch agricultural affairs. At present plans are being formulated for the winter meeting to be held Friday, January 23, 1953, at Franklin Court in Hagerstown. The topics selected for discussion are as follows:
1. Spittle hug control on alfalfa and delated crops; when to spray . . what to use, details in management of cutting and spraying fro maximum yields. Attempting to secure Dr. Pepper . ; Penn. State.
