Sperryville II 4-H opened Wednesday with devotionals read by Annie Dodson. In business session Carolyn Turner reported on County Council and five girls decided to take the electric project. In program this month Mildred Many demonstrated the wrapping of Christmas packages. During project work, project demonstrations were given by:

Curling hair on paper, Neville Wood; Curling hair on rubber curlers, Adell Sisk; Brushing of hair, Annie Dodson; Making of Shampoo, Florence Atkins. Demonstrations this month was on the “Washing of Sweaters.” ,

Sperryville III 4-H met Thursday for regular meeting. Business session was on County Council goals. Program demonstration on wrapping Christmas presents was given by Elizabeth Smith. In project work help was given on hemming of towels and girls showed sewing boxes made by them. Amissville 4-H met Friday afternoon. Report on County Council was given by Elizabeth Latham and county goals were discussed. In project work each girl brought cookies she had made with her recipe. As a result each girl will have a number of new recipes for Christmas.

Forest Grove 4-H'ers met Friday Elizabeth Printz was elected secretary for the group. The girls exhibited their sewing boxes and received instructions on hemming tea towels.
