Amissville News Notes

Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Hall and son of Arlington were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Hall.

Mr. and Mrs. Sim Hutton of Front Royal were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Walter.

W. A. Laing was a recent Warrenton visitor.

Mrs. C. H. Fisher was a guest in Arlington on Friday.

Mrs. Davis is sick at her home at Amissville.

Mrs. Graham Hackley and children spent Tuesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Zinn.

Mrs. Will Duncan is imporving following a fall at her home, when she received slight injuries.

The first quarterly meeting of the charge was held at the Methodist church Tuesday with the Rev. Aubrey Hughes of Charlottesville preaching the morning sermon. A business meeting was conducted in the afternoon.

Mrs. Charlie Compton was a guest Thursday of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Button, in Jeffersonton.
