.Guy Kemper Clattertack
After an illness of a few days, Guy Kemper Gatterbudc died December 2 at his home at Smedley.
A native and life-long resident of Smedley, Mr. Clatterbuck was a farmer and fruit grower. Son of the late William N. and Texanna Jones Clatterbuck, he is survived by a sister and a brother, Miss Clara Clatterbuck, at home, and Stonewall Oatterbuck of Smedley. Also surviving are three uncles, James, John and Willard Jones; two nephews, James and Edward Clatterbuck; and two nieces, Mrs. William Fracker and Mrs. B. B. Graves.
Funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. A. Paul Thompson, from Oakley Baptist church Thursday afternoon, December 4. Interment was in the family cemetery at Smedley. Pallbearers included Berle Atkins, Robert Jacobs, D. Lyle Miller Jr., Johnny Kendall, Jack Miller, and Dr. John P. Snead.
