Due to the bad weather on Friday, December 5, the Spread Raffle was postponed until Monday, December '22, at 8 p.m. at which time the Christmas program will be presented at the Washington Elementary School Everyone is invited to a pleasant .evening of entertainment, refreshments and good music. A birthday part^ for Josephine JBridget was entertained in the honor o£ her grandmother, Mrs. Nanny .Starks. Those present were Charlotte Barbour, Catherine Ann Freeman, Janette Bailey, Marvin Fletcher, Louemina Fletcher, Lois Fletcher, Ted Barbour, Billy Freeman, William Fletcher, Coleman Starks, Alfred Bridget, Arthur Bridget ancf Jack Freeman. Josephine is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Bridget of Washington.
