Casque was read, stating that the roa>d to the Flnit Hill School had been taken over by the secondary system, and asked for the Amissville School road be taken over by the secondary system also* This was unanimously approved. A. C. Latham was allowed $110 for the three ewes and ram killed by a dog belonging to Joe Hitt. Mr. Hitt has killed the dog.
R. L. Brown requested the board to pay two Sperryville road bonds. Mr. Cook put this as a motion, which was seconded and unanimously approved. Upon motion the riieeting. was adjourned.
Auxiliary Meeting
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Rappahannock Fire Department held its regular meeting Monday, with Mrs. B. R. Cox presiding, who opened the meeting with the reading of the following poem.
First, we must live the right kind
of life.
Second, we must stand for the
right thing.
Third, we must keep the right
attitude.
Fourth, we must think right and
Fifth, we must believe right.
She also reminded the group that it will be ten years old January 18.
Highlights of the meeting were formulating plans for the firemen’s banquet and appointing the following committees:
