Mrs. J. B. Williams and Miss Minnie Williams have returned after a holiday visit with Mrs. Williams’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark of Bon Air. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Williams of Hilton Village also visited at the Clark home. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Williams are home after a two weeks visit with Mrs. Williams’s parents of Easley, South Carolina. Mrs. E. R. Browning, who has been spending several days with Mrs. Robert Turner of Washington, D. C., returned home on Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Profitt had as their guests for several days last week, Mr. and Mrs, Garfield Ryone and five sons of Providence, „R. I., Mrs. Ryone is a sister of Mrs. Profitt and Mr. Ryone is manager of the Circular Tool Co. in Providence. Ben Towell of North Garden was a week-end guest of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr.

Mrs. G. W. Smith and Mrs. R. L. Massie entertained jointly for dinner in the home of Mrs. Massie. Their guests were Mr. and tyrs. James Yates, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Wood, Ben Towell and G W. Smith Jr.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wood were at North Garden on Monday for the day visiting Mr. and Mrs, Oliver Smith. The occasion was Mr. Smith’s birthday.

Miss Ruth Stevens and Mrs. Russell Wood spent Monday in Winchester.

Miss Hilda Nethers has returned to Harrisonburg Memorial hospital where she has a position as a nurse, after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers for a few days.
