BRIDGE PARTY
Mrs. L. J. Turner entertained the Washington Bridge club with additional guests for dessert bridge on Friday evening. Her guests were \ Mrs. George H. Davis Jr., Mrs. C.T. Bruce, Mrs. Wade H. Massie Jr., Mrs. J. W. Price, Mrs. Robert L. Massie, Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Miss Minnie Williams, Mrs. Ned Jones, Mrs. B. M. Miller, L. J Turner, Mrs. W. F. Moffett and Mrs. D. D. Miller. After the game prizes were awarded by the hostess to Mrs. D. D. Miller for high score, Mrs. C. T. Bruce for traveling, Miss Minnie Williams for bingo and Mrs. Price for consolation.
GUESTS AT MT. PROSPECT Thursday dinner guests of Mt. Prospect, the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur MiJJer, were Mr. and MrSj. Gene Wood, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Snead, Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Massie III, Mr. and Mrs. Brue Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood.
Mahlon Ramey, of Washington, has stated that the year’s end saw his car selling record in good order. Since going to work with the George Washington Garage in Winchester on May 13. Mr. Ramey sold 89 used cars, 13 new Mercurys, and 2 new Lincolns. He states that he hopes to make 1953 even a bigger and better year in his selling of cars.
