Firemen Join League

With County Baseball

AH firemen and those interested in playing baseball are invited to be present Monday night, March 30, at 8 o'clock in the fire house, Washing* ton, when plans for the coming baseball season will be discussed.

The baseball team, sponsored by all three volunteer fire companies of the county (Amissville, Sperryville, and Washington), is making a plea for players. Membership on the baseball team is nq| necessarily for firemen— anyone who can play ball is wanted.

If for some reason a baseball player y cannot be present at the meeting Monday night, the firemen ask that you send'in your name cm- else get a friend to tell the firemen that you vill join and help out the team.

The Monday night meeting is of utmost importance. Besides getting the team organized, necessary business that night means making arrange ments to get the ball diamond located uid in shape, ordering equipment and aiforms.
