Mrs. Z. H. Sealock was hostess to a dinner company on Sunday at die Lee Highway Hotel. Her guests were Rev. Arthur Ribble, Mbs Beverly Ribble of Boyce, Col. and Mrs. W.R. Williamson, Miss Annie Stephenson and Harry Stephenson.

Mrs. C. H. H. Brandi left on Wednesday by plane from Washington, D. C for Salt Lake City, Utah, where she will visit her son, Dr. C. H. H. Branch and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Dodson of Elkton, their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dodson and their two daughters of Waynesboro were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Ernest Dodson and family.
Mrs. Harry Smith who went to the hospital for a check-up following an operation last week, was the guest for several days of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown.
W. B. Chapman and his son, Donald of Washington, D. C., spent Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and their two dauhters, Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer visited Mt. Vernon and other places of interest in Washington, D. C. on Saturday, Miss Ruby Dwyer accompanied them on the trip. Mrs. Helen Bruce, her daughter, Miss Mary Helen Bruce, with Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow of Culpeper motored to Hagerstown on Thursday for a short visit with their brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Slusher. On the return Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Partlow remained for a week end visit at “Barlow.”
