Mrs. Mary Dean of Washington. D. C. visited her father, Edwin Adams over the weekend. Mrs. James T. Woodward and son, Keith of Harrisonburg, Pa. have been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lee' Fletcher for two weeks. Her husband, Sgt. Woodward is in the air force and is now stationed in New York.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fletcher of Philadelphia were week end guests of Mr. Fletcher’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lee Fletcher. John Fletcher of Pa. stopped over for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fletcher enroute to Georgia for his wife, who attended her uncle’s funeral there. - Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Richardson had as their dinner guests on Sunday Dr. and Mrs. Jehkins and daughters, Jennie and Carroll, Mr. and Mrs. George Washington and daughter, Margaret of Washington, D. C.
The neighbors gave Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holland a surprise Wednesday night, March 18, the occasion being Mrs. Holland’s birthday. Mr. Holland also having a birthday on March 28. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. George Evans, Mrs. Mabel Fletcher, Mrs. Ida Fletcher, Mrs. Havanna Jeffries. The cake was a creation of Mrs. Havanna Jeffries. A delightful repaJt was served.
