Mr. and Mrs. Robert £. Wood, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Estes motored to Washington, D. C. on Wednesday for dinner and to meet Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Miller, who are returning by plane from a vacation trip to Texas and Florida.

Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood, Miss 'Eda Finks and Dick Finks were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Schackleford. The members of the Gris Auxiliary of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist church met on Saturday morning with Mrs. James Atkins for a social hour and refreshments.

Mrs. R. S. Town of Burlington, Vt. is visiting her brother and sister-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne.

Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily went to Arlington on Friday and had dinner with Mrs. Sclmat in Warrenton, later visiting Mrs. Elizabeth Biggs, who is ill at her home in Arlington and were overnight guests oi Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Compton. They had noon dinner on Saturady with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Reets and Mrs. Lillitter Harrell and they were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Maddox where services were held that evening after which they were overnight guests of Elder T. J. Majors at Hyattsville, Md. James W. Fletcher and A. C. Latham were in Richmond Thursday to attend the Jefferson-Jackson day dinner.
