Misses Gwendolyn Hockman and Ann Dove, students of Madison College, were guests over the weekend of Miss Hockman’s unde and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bruce of “Stonehaven.”
Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Eubank of Roanoke arrived today (Thursday) to spend the week end with Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell of “Twinland.” Messrs. Eubank and Campbell expect to do some trout fishing.
Miss Mary Massie Lea of Hollins College and John Cargill of Washington and Lee University were weekend guests of Miss Lea’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Lea. Mr. and Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston and daughters, Kay and Carolyn Were guests Sunday in Arlington. “Dickie” Walker, a student at Fork Union Military Academy, was a week-end guests of his mother and grandmother, Mrs. Matilda Walker and Mrs. J. W. Clark. Mrs. Holmes Hall had as her dinner guests on Sunday at the Lee Highway Hotel Mrs. J. Frank Jones and Mrs. John A. Keyser. Pete Scudere left on Monday on a business trip through the southern states.
