Mrs. Joe Hitt, who has been in the University Hospital for several weeks has returned home.
Mrs. Henry Whorton of Amissville was an overnight guest Saturday of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. Whorton of Centerville.
On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whorton and mother, Mrs. Henry Whorton, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Utz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Clatterbuck and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Whorton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whorton and family and Miss Lavinia Whorton visited the zoo in Washington, D. C.
Mr. and Mrs. James Brown and family, Jerry, Jeanne and Jimmie and Miss Mary Ellen Atkins enjoyed a picnic on the Skyline Drive- Sunday.
Mrs. Joe Hitt, who has been in the University hospital for several weeks where she underwent an operation, arrived home Tuesday, April 21. Tuesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hitt were Mrs. Grace Reid, Mrs. Leslie Walters, and Mrs. Standish Riley of Rappahannock; Mrs. Dudley Martin, Mrs. Myrtle Mitchell and Mrs. Lomas of Manassas; Mrs. Lewis of Saulsberry, Md. Thursday guests were Mrs. Eddie Martin, Mrs. John Hitt and Mrs. Dave Woodward. On Saturday the Rev. Harold Carter was a guest in the Hitt home. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Brown and family of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carter and Miss Ada Elkins of Germantown, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hitt and son, Dannie, and Bobby Hitt.
Miss Ada Elkins is remaining in the Hitt home for an extended visit.
