' Mr. and Mrs. Reid Biedler and Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis and daughter, Susan of Washington, D. C. spent last week with Mrs. H. J. Racer. The .latter part of the week Mr. and Mrs. Biedler visited Colonial Beach.
Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver and children, Johnnie and Shirley and Morris Butler were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Armentrout at Five Forks.
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston, Sunday at their home, “Boxwood Garden,” were Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner of Charlottesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Johnston ,and daughters, Kay and Carolyn and Mrs. W.' L. Wake and her guest, Sam Gentry enjoyed a picnic at Rock Mills Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Kalbach of Arlington spent the week end at the home of Mrs. A. M. Vemer. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Updike were guests of Mrs. Vemer. j___. Miss Caroletta Gough spent the week end with Miss Elizabeth Vemer.
Miss Mary Eubank spent Monday in Front Royal shopping. v Mrs. W. F. Moffett Jr. and children, Frank, Page and Jean Carter left Wednesday to spend the hionth of July with Mrs. Moffett’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton at the Pohick Rectory, in Lorton. Mr. Moffett and Mrs. Frank Moffett accompanied Mrs. Moffett and the children to Lorton and returned home Wednesday.
