- Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr. and family, Galley and Charlie were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. Smith’s brother-in-law and sister* Mr. and Mrs. Edward S. Long of Grottoes.

Mrs. R. L. Massie, and Mrs. M. R. Bradford and son, Marvin Jr. were Sunday evening guests of Robert Massie at Skyland.

Robert L. Massie has a summer position at Skyland.

Mr. and Mrs. James Settle Jr. and son of Alexandria are visiting Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle.

Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin and Son, Richard spent the week end at Copper Hill, the home of Mrs. Corbin’s parents. Richard remained with his grandparents for a visit of a few weeks.

Warren Conrad Eastham was visiting friends and relatives in the neighborhood on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin visited Rev. and Mrs. M. E. Sliger at Cave Spring on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles LeFoe and family, Barbara Grant and Hunter were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Edgar Browning and family and Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gay and family, Richard and Terry and Mrs. Hadassah Dunn of Newport News were overnight guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Brue Wood. Mr. and Mrs. Wood’s daughter, Frances, returned with Mr. and Mrs. Gay for a visit while Mrs. Wood’s mother, Mrs. Dunn remained for a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Wood.

On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Barksdale visited Mr. Barksdale's mother, Mrs. J. O. Barksdale at North Garden.

Mrs. Paul Miller and children, Paula and Paul Louis, and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie spent the day Sunday at Colonial Beach. „

Mr. and Mrs. William Dennis of South Carolina were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis.

P D. Dennis spent last week end in Leesburg.

Rev. David Menchhofer is in Philadelphia attending a Methodist Rally, a birthday celebration of John Wesley.

Mrs. Reba Dabney, who has been spending several days in Washington, D. C., was home for the week end.

Misses Catherine Lillard and Bonnie Gentry are attending the F. H. A. Camp at Smithfield this week.
