BAPTISMAL SERVICES
The Washington Baptist church conducted an outdoor Baptismal service at Cooper’s Hole, Sunday, June 28 with a large attendance lining the banffiks of the river and filling the nearby bridge. Ten candidates were baptizzed by the pastor. They were Mrs. Virgil Updike; Kelly, Randall, and Glen Updike, three brothers; Christine, Charlotte and Colleen Keatts, sisters; Jean Hawkins; Nancy Wood and Thomas Wilson Fincham.
