Fire Co, Auxiliary
Nineteen ladies of the Flint Hill comnjpnity met Tuesday night in the Flint Hill School to organize an auxiliary to the newly formed Flint Hill Fire Company. Mrs. T. I. Martin, who has been active in organizing all the Ladies’ Auxiliaries in this vicinity, talked with the group offering many helpful suggestions and answering aptly their numerous questions. Mrs. George L Greene, president of the Culpeper Ladies Auxiliary, accompanied Mrs. Martin. Mrs. Robert L. Massie was elected temporary chairman of the group. She appointed the following com- < mittees: Mrs. Lyle Rector, Mrs. Carson Lillard, and Mrs. Frank H. Cary, nominating committee, to bring in a slate of officers for the April meeting; and Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. G. W. Smith and Mrs. W. A. Moore, By-Laws committee.
A fee of $1.20 a year >ras set as dues and the meeting date decided upon was the first Monday of every month.
Herbert Foster, Emory Russell and Brue Wood composed a committee from the Fire Company who met with the Ladies in their Tuesday night meeting.

' Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen of Woodville have announced the marriage of their daughter, Charlotte Anne, to Roy Lee Trout, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Trout, of Murphy, North Carolina, on Saturday, March 6, in Chesterfield, South Carolina.
