Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, who went to Washington, D. C. on Saturday morning and attended the Flower Show at the National Guard Armory, was a week end guest of her nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Brown in Alexandria, where she was joined by her son, Robert W. Sealock for the visit. She returned to Sperryville on Monday morning with Mrs. Brown, who was enroute to Alabama to visit her parents.
Mrs. Maury W. Brown was called to King George on Thursday by the serious illness of her mother, Mrs. W. A. DeShazo. She was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Phyllis B. Shirey, who returned the same evening and on Sunday Mrs. Shirey and Miss Jean Brown motored to King George to return with their mother. Later reports are that Mrs. DeShazo who is 87 years old is still critically ill.
