Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser motored to Washington, D. C. on Sunday to attend the Flower and Garden Show at the National Guard Armory.

Rev. and Mrs. A. Paul Thompson and daughter, Ann Rodes, Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown and granddaughter, Susan Brown and Mrs. Mary Thornhill were dinner guests Sunday of Miss Eda Finks, who also had as her guest, Miss Eunice Maddox of Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood were guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning at Flint Hill. On Wednesday, Mrs. Wood spent the day in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Ida E. Jenkins of AmissVille was an overnight guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cloud.

Mrs. Annie M. Welch, who returned from the Warren Memorial Hospital on Friday following an operation last Monday, is recuperating satisfactorily at her home here. Her daughter, Mrs. Harry Martin, who was in Front Royal to be near her, has also returned to Martinsburg, West Va.
