Back in 1947, Kelly started his , 4-H work with six sheep until today he has 16 head and has collected ..$1,295 profit along the way.He has taken projects in corn and pasture to get a wider knowedge of what it takes to raise an animal. Kelly has . learned well too because he topped the Junior Division of the 100 Bushel Corn Club for three years, along withd about $700 profit on his corn. For his seeven years of 4-H work Kelly has realized $2,180 profit on all his projects. He has taken a total of 20 projects in his4-H career.
This year Kelly has 14 ewes with 12 lambs already.' He is continuing his corn and pasture projects with two acres of corn and one acre pf pasture on demonstration. Along with these projects he is starting his third year in the Rural Electric Project. Kelly is also serving as Junior leader in the Washington area to help the younger members in, their club work. In adition to this he is doing a fine job as president k>f the Washington Sr. 4-H club and Vice President of the 4-H County Council. He is again participating in the livestock judging team of which he was a member of the team that made a fine showing last year. =• Kelly has always exhibited and helped with the 4-H or county fair each year.
