Kelly Updike has been selected as the 4-H’er for the month of March in accordance with the goals set up by the 4-H County Council. He has definitely proved his leadership abality in 4-H work and is outstanding in other fields. We feel that Kelly is the kind of 4-H'er who typifies National 4-H Week. In school, Kelly has consistantly Ibeeen one of the top students in addition to holding the Vive Presidency of Sophomore Class, president of the Junior Class and now president of the S.C.A. His F.F.A. honors include the president of the chapter for 2 years and being chosen as State Chapter farmer for two years. He is now president of Northern Triangle Federation. A perfect attendance at Sunday School for six years and president of the young peoples Christian group at the Washington Baptist Church is a pretty good indication of his work in the church.
