Mr. and Mrs. Red Clark and daughter, Miss Donjia Clark of Culpeper were guests Sunday afternoon of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown and Miss Elizabeth Smith. Mrs. George Mitchell of Richmond was a visitor in the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. CWapman on Friday. Mrs. Carroll Menefee left on Friday for Euid, Oklahoma, where she will be the guest for an indefinite time of her son and daughter-in-law^ A/c Carroll Menefee and Mrs. Menefee. w Mr. and Mrs. Joe Henry Aylor and family of Arlington spent the week end with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and daughter, Miss Polly Nethers were guests on Friday night of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey Jr. On Saturday, Pvt. Coffey left for his new assignment at Fort Eustis, Va. His mother, Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Mrs. Coffey Jr., and Miss Polly Nethers, who drove to Richmond with him, were overnight guests of Mrs. May Goodman. On Sunday, Mrs. Coffey, her daughter-in-law and Miss Nethers accompanied by James Nelson Rector, visited Pvt. Coffey at Ft. Eustis and toured Jamestown and Williamsburg.
Mrs. Clarence Jenkins, her daughters, Misses Irene and Pauline Jenkins were callers at Mrs. F. D. Cof_fey’s home on Monday evening. Mrs. Robert Nethers was also a guest on Monday of her daughter, Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr.
Mrs. Harry Smith, who was an overnight guest Friday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, returned to Washington, D. C. Saturday.
