4-H—From page 1 • prizes in his projects stand at $215. Besides this prize money Kelly has received: 1. 3 trips to the 4-H Short ' ICource in Blacksburg; 2. County Medals in field crops and meat ani•mals; 3. Membership in the state 4-H All Star Chapter. Although these prjzes are impressive Kelly feels that the experience and self-reliance that he has received being a 4-H’er is worth more to him than the prize money. .
From this record one can see why we are proud of Kelly and just what a 4-H’er can do if he has the determination. Much of this credit goes to his parents who have shown a great deal &i interest and encouragement in his work.
To continue his education, Kelly plans to enter V.P.I. in the fall.
