Mrs. Margaret Hunter has returned from New York after her two weeks stay.

Mr. Will Timbers, who is a patient at the University of Virginia hospital, is improving nicely.

A/c Robert H. Beckwith, Jr., now a member of the Air Force, has been reported ill. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beckwith and is now stationed at Sampson Air Force Base, Geneva, N.Y.

Gaylord Butler was a recent visitor in Orange.

Berkley Lewis of Washington, D. C. was the week end guest ofhis parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lewis.

William Carter was a caller of Mr. H. R. Russell on Monday morning. _ __

The dinner given March 7 for the ibnefit of the school rally sponsored by Mrs. Nannie Starks was successful. She wishes to thank friends and neighbors for their cooperation. Also wish to thank the white folks for 19 dinners.

Mildred Fletcher, Blanche Fletcher and Bill Yates visited Mr. Timbers in the hospital Thursday.

Mrs. Cornelia Perry, who is home for a week with her mother, Mrs. Lena Timbers, and Mrs. Timbers visited her mother, Mrs. Mildred Roy on Tuesday.

Arthur Bridgett Jr., is on the sick list this week.
