Miss Faye Black, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. M. Black of Sperryville, has been selected as the 4-H honoree for the month of October.
Miss Black excells in project work, haying completed 11 projects in 6 years. Of these 11, Faye prefers “room improvement,” which was one of her summer projects. Her improvements include:

Faye also likes to sew and has demonstrated her skill in four garments. In the cooking line, she specializes in breads.
Faye is well liked by her school mates. She is secretary of the 10th .grade and serves as secretary of the Varsity Club of Rappahannock County High School.
Stating emphatically that “I like being a 4-H’er,” Faye continues, explaining that her 4-H training and these 11 projects have helped her to -do -much better work.
