I want to take this opportunity to let you, and your very fine office staff, know how delighted I am at the very fine record you made in collecting the 1953 income tax. It is most refreshing to find certain individuals who realize that when the job becomes more difficult, the challenge thereby becomes greater and they become more determind than ever before to meet that challenge head on. This, it seems to me, is what happened in your case and it has paid a handsome dividend in the form of a better record being set in tax collecting in Virginia.
