Fred Dodson
Fred William Dodson, long a Rappahannock farmer and a resident of Flint Hill, died Monday afternoon in Warren Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for 3 days. He had entered the hospital as the result of a ; broken leg, incurred in a hunting accident Thursday night, but his death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mr. Dodson was born May 8, 1888, the son of the late William and Margaret Dodson. His wife preceded him in death 26 years. '
Surviving are two daughters: Miss Elsie Dodson of Flint Hill and Miss Margaret Dodson of Alexandria and Flint Hill; two sons, James Dodson; Flint Hill and Lt. Com. Paul W. Dodson, U. S. Navy, stationed at Dahlgreen; and three brothers: Walter Dodson, Castleton, Bergie Dodson and Samuel Dodson, both of Winchester. Two grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 pjm. from the Flint Hill Baptist Church. /
