And an affidavit having been made and filed that the defendant John Wesley Fletcher is not resident of the State of Virginia, it is ordered that John Wesley Fletcher do appear within 21 days after due publication hereof, and do what may be necessary to protect his Interests in this suit. And It is further ordered that a copy hereof be published once a week for four successive weeks in the Rappahannock News, a newspaper published at Washington, Virginia; that a copy be posted at the frpnt door of the Courthouse of this County, and that the Clerk mail a copy hereof to the defendant at the post office address given in the affidavit herein, and file a certificate of the fact in the papers of this case.
