Since many patients come to the .University of Virginia Hospital 'from great distances, donors may contribute to their nearest Red Cross Blood Bank or “BloodMobile” and ask that Red Cross chapter to notify the hospital that replacement has been made, thus eliminating a trip which might impose undue hardship on the blood donors.
