On October 23, fifty-nine 8th I grade students, accompanied by * Mr. Cascio and Mr. Brockmann, ! visited Washington, D. C. Students toured such points as the [ American Museum of National - [ History, The Smithsonian Insti! tute, The Washington Monument and the United States Capitol Building. *_ * D. C. Cascio will represent the high school .teachers, and Miss Dorothy Spicer, the elementary teachers, at the Virginia Education Association Convention in Richmond from October 27 to 30. Miss Lucy "Conrad, exchange teacher from Vancouver, will also attend the meeting.
Mrs. Cox, Miss Jenkins and' Mrs. Reynolds are preparing a Halloween play, “Halloween For the Witch,” to be presented on Friday, October 29 at 2:30 p.m.— All elementary students will take part in* the program. The public is cordially invited. Lelia Gentry, R.C.H.S. Reporter
