Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Critzer, D. E>. Miller, Jr., J. W. Price, Jr. of Washington, and Miss Moore of Charlottesville motored to Roanoke on Saturday for the V.P.I.—University of Va. football game. Miss Lena Mae Green , of Kingsport, Tennessee, returned with them to Washington and was a week-end guest of the D. D. Millers. Bruce Critzer spent the week end with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Keyser of Luray.
Miss Nora Dillon was at Madison College for the week end for “rush week.” Miss Dillon is a member of Pi Kappa Sigma. Miss Margaret Quaintance of Rappahannock was initiated into the society over the week end.
Miss Irene Keyser was an overnight guest Wednesday of JVIr. and Mrs. Henry Miller. On Thursday she accompanied them to Richmond.
Mrs. J. Frank Jones of Delamore, who accompanied her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Eubank of Roanoke to Florida several weeks ago to visit their brother and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Umstat, arrfved home ' last week.
John R. DeBergh, accompanied by his niece, Miss Mary Norman Davis, attended the V.P.I.-University of Virginia football game . in Roanoke on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. James J. Douglas and family, Bonnie and Jay of Falls Church were week-end guests of their aunt and unde, _ Mrs. Bartow Brown of The Orchards and Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller of Maple Springs. Friday the Douglasses went on the Skyline Drive.
Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Sunday dinner guests of Miss Bertie Lib Moffett. In the evening Mrs. Miller carried Mrs. Moffett to Mrs. J. N. Major’s of Riverside where sjhe visited with her daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Mrs. Brooke Moffett and Robin of Norfolk.
