Rosa P. Bishop
__ Mr*. Rosa Partlow Bishop, well loved native and life-long resident of Washington, died at the age of 65 last Tuesday, November 30, when stricken with a heart attack while visiting her sister, Mrs. B. R. Cannon, in Castleton.
Funeral services were conducted in • the Washington Baptist Church by her pastor, the Rev. G. at 2 p.m. with burial in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were T. C. Lea, C. E. Giles, Jimmy Wayland, Lewis Turner, Milton Gore, G. L. Updike, E. M. Jones, D. D. Miller and W. A. Miller.
Mrs. Bishop was the daughter of the late Burrell Taylor Partlow and Ruth Updike. Partlow, and widow of the late Leonard Bishop. She is survived by 2 sons, James Roscoe of Arlington and Taylor of Washington, D.C. and 2 grandchildren, Jimmy and Nancy Ellen. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Mrs, D. C. Updike of Washington and Mrs. Cannon of Castleton.
