In case you think we did nothing but eat, we had a fashion show presenting the winners in style revue, and showing of the - new movie oa 4-H produced by Ford. ,We were allowed to criticize this movie, choose the name and suggest places where it will be shown,-—— At this time^- -Secretary of Agriculture Benson spoke to us. He was given a copy of the film and he said he would show it to his family, to the president and his cabinet. In fact Mr. Benson said he wished every American could see this film. ?
We had a party, given by Coats and Clark in the beautiful and unusual Aragon ballroom. It is built to resemble a French market square, with “houses” around the walls. The balconies have chairs and tables, the ceiling is deep blue with stars which twinkled and clouds moying across it. We danced to Eddie Howard’s orchestra, while he was broadcasting over WLS.
