Mrs. Joseph Powers of “Holly Spring Farm” spent Wednesday in Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Carl Reese of Norton is making an extended visit with her sisters, Mrs. Jennie Miller and Miss Lizzie Miller.
On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. George A. Nethers spent the day in Hood with their daughter, Mrs. Walker Hood, who recently sustained a serious fracture of her * arm.
Mr. and Mrs. Casper H. Hawv kins and daughter, Miss Hester, had as guests on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Moreland of Alexandria and Clinton Hawkins of Annandale.
Mrs. Nina Jenkins enjoyed a visit Sunday from Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Spellman and sons of Alexandria.
Or. and Mrs. Rupert W. Quaintance and their sister, Miss Elsie Ramsey had as week-end , guests Mr. and Mrs. Barton P. Quaintance and family of Fredericksburg.
Robert J. Boyd, Jr. of Richmond, who visited his parents over the week end, preached Sunday morning at Culpeper Presbyterian Church and in the afternoon assisted wij:h jhe Christmas Concert at the church, given by the Boys’ Choir from the Presbyterian Home in Lynchburg.
Mrs. Jesse Weaver, Mrs. Otho R. Weaver and their little niece, Kay Partlow were Monday visi- _ tors of Mrs. Robert A. Brown. -Mrs. M. K. Norris of Rixeyville, who has been visiting her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Thornhill, left Wednesday for her home.__
